Last week, ProcessUnity hosted UNITE 2025 San Diego, our trailblazing customer summit. This edition of the event was one for the record books: UNITE 2025 was the most attended summit in ProcessUnity history. From May 6th to 8th, we brought together the largest-ever community of ProcessUnity customers, partners, and third-party professionals at the Mission Bay Resort in San Diego for an unforgettable experience.

With exceptional participation and a packed agenda of product announcements, customer insights, and engaging discussions, this year’s summit truly left an impression on the risk community. Whether attendees were diving into hands-on sessions, exploring the future of AI in TPRM, or connecting over tacos and tech talk, UNITE 2025 was a highly productive, inspiring, and community-driven event.

Celebrating Product Innovation: What’s Here and What’s Coming

One of the biggest highlights of UNITE 2025 was sharing what’s new and what’s next, on our product roadmap.

We officially launched Evidence Evaluator, our latest Generative AI technology that enables third-party risk teams and vendors to automate and accelerate evidence collection and analysis during the assessment lifecycle. This was a major milestone, and the response from attendees was overwhelmingly positive.

What sets Evidence Evaluator apart is its seamless integration with the ProcessUnity TPRM platform. It eliminates the need for our customers to integrate standalone tools into their program. Built and trained on our expansive cybersecurity Large Language Model (LLM), Evidence Evaluator reads and understands virtually any document submitted as part of the vendor assessment process, scanning and producing a response (including proof points from the document) in a matter of seconds.

Attendees also got a sneak peek at what’s ahead for the product roadmap:

  • Assessment Autofill – This upcoming AI feature, slotted for later this year, enables third parties to reduce their assessment request strain with new technology. The functionality reads the third party’s previously completed assessment questionnaires, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 Reports and certifications, and more, and maps them to the requested assessment, reducing redundancy and expediting the third party’s submission process.
  • ProcessUnity’s Advanced Third-Party Risk Scoring – While we’re not revealing the full details just yet, this upcoming capability introduces a third-party rating helping organizations assess varying levels of risk and prioritize vendors with even greater precision.

These innovations are part of our ongoing mission to make TPRM more data-driven, automated, and scalable for organizations of all sizes.

Partner-Led Sessions That Delivered Real Value

UNITE would not have been possible without the support of our amazing partners and sponsors. This year, we were thrilled to feature sponsors including Crowe, PWC, RiskRecon, Shared Assessments, CastleHill, RapidRatings, and MorganFranklin Cyber, all of whom participated in our partner expo throughout the week and were featured in partner-lead sessions complete with engaging presentations and panel conversations.

Whether they were presenting frameworks, offering product best practices, or sharing industry trends, our partners played a critical role in making UNITE 2025 a success.

Fireside Chat:  Deep Dive on TPRM & AI with Industry Leaders

Day 1 featured a memorable fireside chat, moderated by our ProcessUnity CEO Sean Cronin. Panelists included David Wright from Accenture, Jeanine Pedoto from Prudential, Andrew Moyad from Shared Assessments, and Dave Stapleton from ProcessUnity. The session focused on how leading organizations manage third-party risk, embrace AI, and work to navigate new opportunities and challenges in real time.

Each speaker shared insights and personal anecdotes on:

  • The evolving role of AI in their TPRM strategies
  • How their organizations stay ahead of regulatory changes
  • Real-world roadblocks and how they overcame them

It was an honest, grounded conversation that reflected real-world strategies being used to modernize TPRM and represented a highlight of the summit for many attendees.

Customer Advisory Board: The AI and Data-First Trends Our Customers Are Focused On

At ProcessUnity, our customers are the experts in the field, solving complex TPRM challenges every day. That’s why we dedicate time at every UNITE summit to listening, gathering insights, and ensuring that our product roadmap aligns with real-world needs.

This year’s Customer Advisory Board (CAB) session was led by a group of ProcessUnity product and strategy team members and reinforced just how critical that feedback loop is. Thoughtful conversations around automation, AI, and data-first strategies drove the future of third-party risk management.

Whether it’s embedding tools such as Evidence Evaluator into existing workflows or making AI more transparent and trustworthy, we’re committed to building products that meet customers where they are and helping them solve new TPRM challenges as they present themselves.

From Bootcamps to Happy Hours, Community Was Key

UNITE is about more than just content; it’s about bringing the TPRM community together. Throughout the week, attendees had plenty of time to relax, connect, and have fun together.

We kicked things off with a welcome reception on Tuesday night at the Mission Bay Resort, complete with a themed dinner and happy hour. On Wednesday night, we took over Old Town San Diego for an evening of margaritas, authentic Mexican cuisine, shopping, and even a little dancing.

We also had many deep-dive opportunities for attendees to connect with the ProcessUnity team on their specific program needs, and share their wins and pain points with other professionals. Our bootcamp sessions saw record attendance, with hands-on workshops for customers to access tools and strategies they can start using today to improve their TPRM programs.
