All ProcessUnity capabilities are delivered via the Internet as Software as a Service (SaaS). Our secure, hosted, web-based applications require no installation and are ready to use from day one.
Secure, Hosted Application. All ProcessUnity capabilities are delivered via the Internet as Software as a Service (SaaS). ProcessUnity is responsible for hosting, maintaining, operating, and supporting software for customers who access our applications over the Internet. ProcessUnity performs daily backups, conducts ongoing application and server monitoring, and is responsible for all operating system and software patches. All ProcessUnity services are hosted in Savvis’ secure, SAS 70-compliant data center just outside of Boston, Massachusetts.
Web-based Application. All ProcessUnity applications use an entirely Web-based, 100% managed code interface. All applications may be accessed via Internet Explorer 6.0 (or higher) or Firefox 1.5 (or higher). Because our applications are completely Web-based, there are no desktop requirements other than use of a supported browser. All ProcessUnity applications are available 24X7. Our SaaS delivery approach means enhancements and upgrades to the service are deployed in an ongoing fashion that ensures “backward compatibility.”
Multi-user Application. All ProcessUnity modules are designed as multi-user applications, with no specific limits to the number of users supported. There are no specific bandwidth requirements. For users with low bandwidth access, ProcessUnity uses compression techniques to optimize the application.
Platform Security. ProcessUnity has a number of overall networking and server security measures in place, including hardened operating systems and firewalled servers. Data are stored in a shared database, which is partitioned to ensure data integrity. Password protection provides an additional level of security.
